Zain’s Breakfast Balance Bowl
I usually go for breakfasts like this when the weather gets warmer but this morning I felt like something lighter and nutrient dense.
I started out with a fresh pressed fruit and vegetable juice followed by what I like to call a balance bowl because it is rich in vitamins, nutrients and contains all of the macronutrients to keep me satisfied.
1 Cup Organic Greek Yogurt, Kefir OR Coconut Yogurt (I use this)
2 Capsules Probiotics
1/2 Tbsp Sunflower Seeds
1/2 Tbsp White Chia Seeds
1 Tsp Raw Manuka Honey 50+ *vegan swap for Raw Maple Syrup
1 Tbsp Homemade Raspberry Jam
1/2 Cup Boiled Quinioa, Pearled Barley OR Whole Grain of Your Choice
1 Tsp Hemp Oil or Raw Sport Oil of Your Choice
1 Scoop Protein Powder (I use Vanilla Sunwarrior)
1. Assemble all ingredients in a bowl and enjoy with your favourite cup of tea or coffee.
