Kapotasana OR King Pigeon Pose
I call it THE FORGIVENESS POSE and practice it when I feel the need to forgive myself or others.
This is an advanced asana that aids in balancing the adrenal glands and stimulates the HEART and THROAT CHAKRAS which encourages forgiveness, self-love, inner peace, self-expression and speaking one’s truth.
Beginners can start by practicing Ustrasana or Camel Pose and breathing deeply into the heart until the chest and spine open over time. Be conscious of your lower back in this pose by drawing the ribs and core muscles in and keeping your knees bent.
