Perhaps Eve was bored.  Perhaps she was ovulating and had a desperate craving for something sweet.  Perhaps life in the little garden was becoming stressful or claustrophobic.  Perhaps she felt out of control or lacked passion in her life and in order to numb her emotions or soothe herself from Adam’s lack of attention or his ambivalence in starting a family, she chose to indulge.  Perhaps Eve was an emotional eater.  But as Eve soon discovered, neither the bite, nor the whole fruit fulfilled her as she had hoped.  Not only did she realize she was naked but that she had contempt for the way she looked.  Perhaps Eve suffered with body dismorphia.  Eve tried to stop eating the forbidden fruit and eventually avoided eating altogether but that didn’t work and she ended up eating until she could no longer breathe.  The point of this is that Eve lost her intuitive ability to nourish herself.  She no longer had balance in her life and was willing to do any and everything to get that back. 

Maybe Eve didn’t exist.  Maybe the stories that were told are not as important as the stories we tell ourselves.  

This blog is dedicated to creating new stories based on the philosophies of whole body nutrition, self-love, intuition, fitness and yoga.

&lt;p&gt;I posted a photo of this on &lt;a href="http://instagram.com/zainsaraswati" title="Instagram" target="_blank"&gt;instagram&lt;/a&gt; yesterday and got a zillion messages and comments on my &lt;a href="https://www.facebook.com/zainsaraswatijamal?ref=hl" title="Facebook Page" target="_blank"&gt;facebook page&lt;/a&gt; and through &lt;a href="https://twitter.com/zainsaraswati" title="twitter" target="_blank"&gt;twitter&lt;/a&gt; asking for the recipe so here it is folks!&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;This is by far one of my all-time favourite healthy salad combinations especially during the warmer months of the year.  It is simple to prepare and the perfect dish to bring to a spring/summer bbq, especially if you grill the prawns.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;em&gt;*Makes 4 Servings&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Ingredients:&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;5 Cups Mixed Organic Greens&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;3 Cups Organic Romain&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;16oz Fresh Wild Prawns (grilled, poached or pan-fried with no oil) *vegans please sub with 280g extra firm non-GMO tofu for the entire recipe or double the black beans AND add 1/4 cup quinoa per serving&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;11/2 Cup Organic Black Beans (unsalted, rinsed)&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;11/2 Cups Organic Peaches and Cream Corn &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;1 Ripe Avocado (sliced)&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;1/2 Cup Dates (chopped)&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;4oz Low-Fat Organic Goat’s Milk Feta Cheese (optional)&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;1/4 Tsp Chilli Powder&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;13/4 Cup Organic Baby Crimini Mushrooms (grilled, poached or pan-fried)&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;em&gt;Dressing&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;2 Tbsp Peanut Oil&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;2 Tbsp Crunchy Organic Peanut Butter&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Juice of 2-3 Limes&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;1 Tbsp Honey OR *vegan substitue 1-2 Packets Stevia&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;1/2 Tsp Braggs&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;1 Clove of Garlic (minced)&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Directions:&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;1. Grill, poach or pan-fry prawns and/or tofu and crimini mushrooms. Set aside.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;2. Prepare dressing by blending ALL ingredients EXCEPT peanut butter, until smooth and then whisk peanut butter in at the end so it remains crunchy. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;3. In a large salad bowl, lay romaine and mixed greens and toss with 2 Tbsp of dressing, add the remaining ingredients except avocado and prawns or tofu. Drizzle remaining dressing and toss.  Top with prawns or tofu, sliced avocado and garnish with lime wedge.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Whether you are a regular yoga practitioner or not, I am going to guide you on how to create your own yoga series so that you have the freedom to BE YOUR OWN TEACHER and start a daily yoga practice, even if you can’t make it to a class.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Self practice gives you the opportunity to deepen your yoga practice and really learn to listen to what your body truly needs rather than relying on the instruction of a teacher who is working to build a class around the needs and abilities of many.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Now that it is warmer, I encourage you to take your practice outdoors.  Go somewhere that inspires you, somewhere where the energy feels great, where you feel nourished.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;blockquote&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;em&gt;Use this chart as a guide.  The chart is read from top to bottom, left to right so Pose 1 is Namasthe, Pose 2 Tadasana and so on.&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;/blockquote&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;To Begin:&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Located a flat, quiet surface and sit in easy pose with your legs crossed, hands resting on your knees palms facing up with your index finger and thumb touching in Jnana Mudhra, the hand gesture of being open to wisdom and divine guidance. &lt;span&gt;Be sure that your spine is straight and long, it may be more comfortable to sit on a cushion or yoga block so that your hips are elevated.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span&gt;Meditation:&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;Begin your practice with a meditation of your choice, I like to start with my &lt;a href="http://evepostapple.tumblr.com/tagged/honouring-your-body-meditation" title="Honour Your Body Eve Post Apple" target="_blank"&gt;Honouring Your Body Meditation&lt;/a&gt; but yours could be a longer one or something as simple as sitting in silence and focusing on your inhaling and exhaling.  &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;Be sure to set an intention for your practice ahead, some examples of this are: Surrender, Forgiveness, Compassion, Self Love etc.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span&gt;Warm Up:&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;3-5 Sun Salutation A (Surya Namaskara A) - A flow, moving through the first 10 poses or asanas on this chart. The key is to link your breath with these movements as you flow beginning with an inhale and exhale at Namasthe and then an inhale at Tadasana followed by an exhale on Uttanasana and so on.  For those of you familiar with ujaay breath and your bandhas, you may start to introduce this during your sun salutations.  &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span&gt;Standing &amp; Balancing Series:&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;Perform poses 11-19 (or your choice of poses) &lt;/span&gt;&lt;span&gt;-&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span&gt; &lt;/span&gt;&lt;span&gt;first beginning with your right leg, then immediately repeating with your left.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span&gt;  &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;span&gt;Hold each of these poses for a a minimum of 5 breaths before moving to the opposite side.  *I recommend doing at least 3 poses from this section including one balancing pose.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;Intermediate practitioners may  practice 1 complete sun salutation after completing each pose.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span&gt;Inversions:&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Poses 20 - 22 are intermediate inversions &lt;/strong&gt;- So for those of you who are comfortable with handstand, peacock and headstand A, you may either practice all of these poses or select one of your choice.  For handstand and headstand, please hold for a minimum of 25 breaths.  For peacock please hold for a minimum of 10 breaths.  &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;Beginners may wish to remain in downward facing dog (pose 7 on this chart) as this is in itself an inversion.  Hold for 10-25 breaths.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;**Inversions are not safe to practice if you experience high or low blood pressure, are pregnant or have any eye or ear issues.  You may not want to practice on the first few days of your moon cycle also. Please review all contraindications before practicing.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span&gt;Heart Opening:&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Poses 23-24 are deep heart chakra openers, practice for 10-15 breaths before taking rest.  Repeat twice. Advanced practitioners can take pose 23 into Upward Facing Bow Pose (Urdva Dhanurasana) and repeat twice.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Rebalancing Pose:&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;After a strong heart chakra opener, it is important to practice a pose that rebalances the glandular system and spine and stimulates the parasympathetic nervous system to bring your body into deep relaxation. Pose 25 Shoulder Stand is an intermediate pose and should only be practiced if you know you are able to do this safely.  If so, practice for 25 breaths before dropping your legs into Plough Pose.  &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Beginners may opt for simply elevating legs up the wall or balancing against a tree.  This has the same effect as the shoulder stand without potential risk of injury to the neck.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Seated Series:&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Now that your body is fully warm and you are breathing deeply we can venture deeper into the chakra system with the seated series.  Poses 26 - 35 work on your subtle energy body so these poses are meant to be held for a minimum of 10 breaths per side. Select at least 5 of these poses to work on based on what you intuitively feel as though you need that day.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Finale:&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Fishing off with 5-10 minutes in Savasana or Corpse Pose, laying on your back with your legs and arms extended.  Advanced practitioners may release bandhas and ujaay breath here. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Upon rising, spend a few moments in seated meditation to ground your energy.  You may use this time to practice gratitude or say a prayer.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Routine can be as addictive as a tub of Ben &amp; Jerry’s right after a…well let’s just be real…after one spoonful.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;And while enjoying this (as a major treat every now and again in the correct portion…OMG I sound like my mother, sorry) is relative to savouring the moment, it can also sabotage all of your efforts to live a healthy, fit, lifestyle.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Same goes for routine.  I know it may not seem that way but it’s true.  &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Taking a break every now and again from your routine is necessary to achieve balance and lasting health.  Really, it is.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Routine offers little room for spontaneity so it is invaluable for us to break free of our regularly scheduled training, eating and timings.  How many of you honestly, feel compelled to eat the same foods day in day out or train your bodies the same way everyday?&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Although this may be helping you achieve results physically, what do you think it is doing for your mind and spirit? &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;One word: SUFFOCATION and deep down inside, especially overtime, you start to get the feeling of, is this all there is?&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;HELL NO. Life is happening.  &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Here are some of my favourite ways to jump on the freedom train:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;1. Get out of town -&lt;/strong&gt; You will be forced to try new cuisine, experiences and train in a different setting.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;2. Take a new class or train at a different gym&lt;/strong&gt; - Never tried yoga or barre? Why not grab a friend and have some fun trying it out? Perhaps sign up for a guest pass at another gym or taking your workout outdoors.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;3. Try a new recipe every week or a new food each day for a month&lt;/strong&gt; - Need some inspiration, click &lt;a href="http://www.zainsaraswatijamal.com/category/recipes/" title="Zain Saraswati Jamal Recipes" target="_blank"&gt;here&lt;/a&gt;.  Check out what foods are in season and as you are walking in the market, see what draws your attention. eat intuitively.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;4. Book a spa day&lt;/strong&gt; - Pamper yourself at your favourite spa.  Enjoy a massage or a treatment package either on your own or make it a date with a friend.&lt;strong&gt;&lt;br/&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;5. Try shopping at a DIFFERENT market -&lt;/strong&gt; One where you don’t know your way around and enjoy the experience of trying new things.  Farmers Markets are amazing if you have access to one.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;6. ***Write down areas in your life where you are dedicated to your routine and notice how you feel in those areas of your life.  Do you feel in control? &lt;p&gt;Not sure if its something in the air this week but I have received several messages on social media asking about tips on how to deal with cellulite.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;As the warmer season approaches and we start bearing more skin, we women become super conscious about the little fat pockets that like to park right up on our thighs and hips.  &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Before I started living the way I live and eating the way I eat, I too dreaded the ‘cottage cheese-like’ lumpy skin around the tops of my legs but I can honestly say that now, due to my lifestyle, it is nowhere to be found.  &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Cellulite is simply fluid retained in fat cells that increase as weight/body fat increases and due to a lack of oxygen in the area, they get squished together creating the dimply look.  Free-radicals, age, diet and lifestyle have a lot to do with it but let me tell you, clean eating is a major game changer.  I had more cellulite at 25 than I have at 33 and that is a fact.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;So here’s what I do to keep cellulite at bay:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;em&gt;1. Diet&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;em&gt;Choose foods that oxygenate the blood and help release fluid retention&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;span&gt;beet root&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;&lt;span&gt;radish&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;&lt;span&gt;parsley&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;&lt;span&gt;asparagus&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;&lt;span&gt;lemon&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;&lt;span&gt;salmon and other fatty fish&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;&lt;span&gt;flax seeds&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;&lt;span&gt;spinach&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;&lt;span&gt;kelp&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;&lt;span&gt;cucumber&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;&lt;span&gt;berries&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;&lt;span&gt;dill weed&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;&lt;span&gt;anise&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;&lt;span&gt;fennel&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;*drink at least 3 liters of water per day, every day as well as lots of herbal tea&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;*my &lt;a href="http://www.zainsaraswatijamal.com/2012/11/01/zains-signature-vitamin-water-five-flavours-winter-collection/" title="PURIFY ZAIN SARASWATI JAMAL" target="_blank"&gt;PURIFY VITAMIN WATER&lt;/a&gt; works wonders for fluid retention so sipping on this all day will benefit you big time in the cellulite department&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;*coconut water works wonders &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;*enjoy foods packed with &lt;em&gt;healthy fats and oils&lt;/em&gt; as they will help your body let go of the fat it is holding onto.  I recommend fatty fish such as salmon or black cod as well as coconut oil, walnuts, avocado and chia seeds&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;*avoid highly acidic foods and stick to alkaline foods, to find out more about what this means click &lt;a href="http://evepostapple.tumblr.com/tagged/acid-vs-alkaline" title="Acid vs. Alkaline" target="_blank"&gt;here.&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;*avoid sugar, salt, alcohol and caffeine (including chocolate, not raw cacao) as these things SUCK the oxygen right out of your blood stream.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;em&gt;&lt;span&gt;2. Training&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;em&gt;&lt;span&gt;A regular weight training and cardio program will do wonders for you.  Weight training, transforms fat cells, which hold 25% water, into muscle cells which hold 75% water.  The magic ingredient in water is….you got it….oxygen.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;em&gt;&lt;span&gt;Here are some of my favourite cellulite-fighting training activities.  Try to incorporate these activities into your life at 4-5 days per week.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;span&gt;HIIT sprints&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;&lt;span&gt;&lt;span&gt;full-body weight training&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;&lt;span&gt;&lt;span&gt;&lt;span&gt;functional training&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;&lt;span&gt;&lt;span&gt;yoga&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;&lt;span&gt;&lt;span&gt;&lt;span&gt;barre classes&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;&lt;span&gt;&lt;span&gt;&lt;span&gt;&lt;span&gt;hiking&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;&lt;span&gt;&lt;span&gt;&lt;span&gt;&lt;span&gt;&lt;span&gt;running&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;em&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span&gt;&lt;span&gt;&lt;span&gt;&lt;span&gt;&lt;span&gt;&lt;span&gt;&lt;span&gt;3. Secret Tips &amp; Tricks&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;&lt;em&gt;&lt;span&gt;&lt;span&gt;&lt;span&gt;&lt;span&gt;&lt;span&gt;&lt;span&gt;&lt;span&gt;Being the complete tomboy that I was growing up, I was fortunate to have a sister who was really in the know about all things beauty related. Her natural talents for creating amazing skin and body care recipes as a kid ultimately led her to becoming the founder of an incredible skincare line sold and used at some of the top spas around the world. &lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;&lt;span&gt;&lt;em&gt;&lt;span&gt;&lt;span&gt;&lt;span&gt;&lt;span&gt;&lt;span&gt;&lt;span&gt;&lt;span&gt;*My sister also swears by something called &lt;a href="http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/08/21/dry-skin-brushing-benefits-cellulite_n_1811708.html" title="Dry Brushing" target="_blank"&gt;dry-brushing.&lt;/a&gt;  For those of you unfamiliar with this, you use a dry loofah brush in a circular motion on your ‘cellulitey’ areas and this helps to break up the fat and increase circulation.  To see a demonstration of how to perform dry brushing technique, click &lt;a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9iJM1xpw9Hc" title="Dry Brushing You Tube" target="_blank"&gt;here.&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;em&gt;Here is a little recipe for a masque that my sister would make for cellulite.  This should be applied directly to your trouble areas to help oxygenate, tighten and relieve fluid retention.&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;AntiCellulite DIY Masque -&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;&lt;span&gt;Combine 1 avocado, 1 beaten egg, 1 tsp of kelp powder, 10 drops of sweet orange oil, 5 drops of fennel oil, 1 tbsp coconut oil and 1 tbsp raw honey.  Mix together and store in a mason jar in the fridge.  &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;&lt;span&gt;Start by dry-brushing the area then apply this masque to your trouble areas 2-3 times per week allowing the masque to sit until it dries, then wash off with cool water. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Remember, cellulite will not vanish overnight but if you remain committed to a clean diet with lots of antioxidant fighting foods, train regularly and practice dry-brushing, you will start to notice your body transform and your cellulite will become a thing of the past!&lt;em&gt;&lt;br/&gt;&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;LASTING weight loss for me, was NOT the result of simply eating and training.  Of course these are two critical elements of achieving weight loss but in my experience of ups and downs, there is one thing that has made all of the difference and no, it was not a book, certain meal program or diet or was it coaching or guidance from an outside source.  &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;What has led to my lasting balance with my weight and physique is:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;blockquote&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;LOVING MYSELF ENOUGH TO  LISTEN TO MY BODY&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;/blockquote&gt;
&lt;p&gt;No matter what diet I followed, no matter how much external guidance I received or how hard I trained, being disconnected to my body and ignoring its signals made me dependant on external techniques to get my body to a point of balance.  &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;This was fleeting because the moment that I could no longer follow the diet plan I had been working with because I was going away or when the program ended or I stopped training that way, the weight would all come right back and for those of you who have experienced this, you understand how frustrating and disappointing this can be.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Don’t get me wrong, learning how to eat clean and train have metamorphosized my life but what has caused these habits to become a way of life took a deep excavation of all of my feelings of worthlessness and fear of failure, perfectionism and self-judgement and replace them with compassion, forgiveness, understanding and love.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;As I did this, my intuitive voice began to speak louder and louder to me and I started to listen.  &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;From deep within, messages came to me about what foods to choose and what exercise would benefit me most that day. Living like this, with this level of freedom and watching as my body has become leaner, stronger and more flexible as a result of it is what I believe in our society we have moved so far from.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;So how did I learn to do this?  Well, a regular &lt;a href="http://evepostapple.tumblr.com/tagged/lovemeditation" title="Love Yourself Meditation" target="_blank"&gt;meditation practice&lt;/a&gt; helped a lot.  What it did was it quieted my mind so that I could actually &lt;em&gt;hear  &lt;/em&gt;what my body was trying to tell me.  The messages, many times, conflicted with what my head said which spoke to me in the way of calories, fat grams what I &lt;em&gt;should and shouldn’t&lt;/em&gt; be doing based on so-called ‘weight loss rules.’&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Well the rules worked but they were never lasting and I decided to choose myself over them and guess what?&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I won.  &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Sure it was scary as f*&amp;^ to let go of what I had learned and believed to work, but it has changed my life and has given me the gift of lasting balance in my body.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;The truth is, you can’t spot train, that’s a fact.  What you can do, is tone, lengthen and strengthen the areas of your body where you tend to hold more fat…hello thighs!!&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;WOD:&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Warm up 5-10 mins&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Cardio -  &lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt; Stair Climber (the big stairs) side step for 20 minutes each side on level 10 or higher for a total of 40 minutes&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Strength Training - &lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;em&gt;4 sets, 60 sec/exercise &lt;/em&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;1. Wall Squat with light medicine ball squeeze&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;2. Curtsy Lunge with dumbbells&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;3. Side Leg Raise with Pulley &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;4. Plie Squats&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;5. External Hip Raise &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;*Perform all exercises with 30 sec rest between sets.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Cool Down &amp; Stretch&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;em&gt;***Most importantly, remember that no matter how hard you train in the gym, sexy, lean thighs are made in the kitchen so keep on, keeping on with that clean eating stuff ;)&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
